Biography

Dr. Rodgers is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. As a person who stutters, speech-language pathologist, and researcher, she has a holistic perspective on stuttering that inspires her to address empirical questions that are clinically grounded. In addition to her time in the lab and classroom, she co-leads the local self-help chapter of the National Stuttering Association. Her overall mission is to evolve our understanding of the psychosocial factors related to stuttering experiences and therapy, and to maximize support for people to live well with stuttering.
